Reimer Soils

Our coloured Enviro-Mulch is created by using an iron-oxide water-based colourant on a natural wood mulch, and its colour lasts much longer than that of shredded bark. Because the mulch is sourced from clean recycled wood, these dynamic mulches are safe for the environment, plants, and animals. They are appropriate for use in both commercial and residential projects.

Our Enviro-Mulch is available in four colours to enhance the colour palette of your landscaping: charcoal black, chocolate brown, rustic red, and horizon gold.

Application and Care:

After planting your trees, shrubs and flowers, spread mulch at a depth of about 2-4”. Use less for heavy clay soils and more for lighter sandy soils.
No need to pile or hill around the base of trees and shrubs. In fact, this may create the perfect hideaway for rodents!
Mulching before the late spring growing season will help with moisture retention and weed suppression. A fall application creates protection for bulbs and perennials.
As mulch breaks down into your soil, be sure to replenish as required. However, sometimes a light rake is all you need to do to refresh its look!
